Happiness at its Finest Happiness is a concept that will be defined differently by every person you ask. This is because it is such a vast feeling; everyone experiences happiness for different reasons.
Their happiness could come from a meeting with a special person, from finally locating their favorite food on campus, or from securing the game winning goal during a sports event. It doesn’t matter to me what it is as long as everyone experiences some sort of happiness during their everyday lives. I feel having happiness in life will ultimately be what will keep us from giving up on opportunities that could otherwise change our lives.
I am a happy person. Every person that I meet tells me such. It’s not because I try too hard or because I want people to like me. It’s because I have always tried to find the positivity in every situation that I am in. If I didn’t do that, I fear I wouldn’t be able to find happiness in anything. It’s so easy to be negative or to be pulled into how negative other people are. However, I never let that get me down. My definition of happiness is unique, it’s my own. It’s the state where being happy is achieved, maybe just for an instance. There are many reasons that I find happiness, an example being when I think of how awesome it will be to see my family again this weekend, or about how great I served against my opponent the previous night at tennis practice. I find happiness in going to the tennis court in early mornings with my tennis friends to warm up my backhand slice, or by going to see my new friends in Beard hall. They're the reason that I'll walk across campus at night even if it scares me half to death. I find happiness in seeing my puppy when my mother comes to visit me.
