Happiness By Raymond Carver
As soon as I read the tittle I felt interested how the writer was going to define what Happiness is.When I started reading the Poem “Happiness” I didn't understand why Carver found happiness in just looking at two boys delivering the newspaper. Carver had a really difficult matrimony and just by seen the simplicity of the boys just walking down the street, makes him happy, thats his definition of happiness. it is very interesting to see what people’s takes on happiness is, everyone has different prospectives on happiness whether it is their family, love, nature etc.. i had to analyze this poem and after doing that Carver demonstrates that Happiness is a unexpected feeling that comes and goes, that is very well communicated through the poem.
