I find it important to eat and keep my body healthy, but it is extremely hard when faced with things that I like. Barry often worries about finding things that are “good for him”, and whether that be emotionally or physically, in my opinion, it doesn’t really matter. Emotional happiness is just as important as physical healthiness. If he is physically unhealthy, he will often be emotionally unhappy, and if he is emotionally unhappy, he will often be physically unhealthy. These are two things that definitely correspond, as if he is unhappy, he will most likely have no driving force to get outside and exercise or eat healthier. I am not saying he should not eat certain foods that make him happy in moderation, but I am saying that only eating healthy can cause a person to feel down, and he can treat himself if he wants to. A simple bowl of hash or ice cream every now and then will not hurt the body. It is important that he treats himself, as this is something that health nuts often forget. If he does not give himself gratification for eating healthy and exercising, then he will most likely grow tired of it. It is astronomically important that he creates a goal for himself, so that he will continue to strive for that goal, but it is also extremely important that he treats himself.
