Happiness is Success Many will dream for success, few will do what it takes. There is nothing that I want more than to see all my dreams unfold in front of me and have the success I strive for by the time I’m thirty. My success consists of having my masters in accounting, having my dream job, and having material success. Among these, I also plan to help support my family and friends. Everything in life is earned and what do you have if you don’t share it with those you love? College for many is a time where students are supposed to look back on the best years of their lives, but these are my trying years. I’m trying to maintain a high grade point average while going to a part-time job almost every night. My college life alone consists of going to Patrick Henry Community College for two years and then transferring to the University of Richmond to do the accelerated master’s program for Accounting. This is important for me because I’ve always had a love for math and learning, but I also want out of school to be able to put my knowledge into action. I believe the accelerated master’s program would be good to help me progress into my dream job.
Dream jobs for others tend to be superficial and quite exaggerated, but mine happens to be a financial investigator. This job deals a lot with the criminal aspect of both accounting and law. The joy given by this job is all I would need to feel successful, but there’s a lot more that goes into having a job and doing it successfully than just feeling joy over it. Being successful in a job deals with liking it, and also being good at it. With this job, I know I’d be able to fulfill all aspects of the job quite well. Also, I feel like this is the job for me because I tend to be such an analytical person and I’ve always had a feel for law and the adrenaline rush that comes with it.
