Haunted House In A Haunted Hotel In Colorado

The shinning takes place in a haunted hotel in colorado. The story behind the hotel is that some of the guests were killed, a former caretaker (jack) takes his family there to live after he takes the position as a caretaker. Jack, his wife, and their little boy all moved into this hotel. Jack hopes that the isolation of the hotel will help him reconnect with his family. After a couple months of living in the hotel Danny, (the little boy) starts possessing telepathic abilities, all without his parents knowing. He is able to read minds and see what others are thinking. Eventually the chief of the hotel senses Danny’s abilities, and starts to explain them to him. This started quite a bit of a relationship between the two of them. They start to have a special connection. As the family starts to settle in, Danny starts seeing scary visions and ghosts. Danny does not tell his parents about the visions because he feels that the care-taking job is very important to his parents and the familys’ future. As the story progresses jacks wife Wendy threatens to leave him, and Danny refuses to go along. Danny feels that his father will he happier with them there next to him. Danny soon realizes that his presence in the hotel is doing nothing but disturbing the ghost’s, making them angry. His presence is making the activity of them a lot stronger. Because of dannys’ relationship with the spirits and the activity, it has a very hard
time possessing him. So because they cant possess Danny they start to possess Jack. As the ghost starts to possess jack, he starts to become gradually unstable. One day after Jack and his wife Wendy got into a huge fight, he wanders around the hotel and eventually finds the hotels bar fully stocked. Jack meets this “bartender” named Lloyed. After one to many drinks he is drunk. The hotel spirits urge jack to kill his wife and son. At first he resists, but the more alcohol and the constant push from the spirits push him to finally do it. Under the thumb of the hotel spirits now turn him into a monster, uncontrollable. Jack is unable to control his dark side now, he gave it to the spirits and now they are controlling him. Wendy and Danny think they have got away from Jack when they lock him in the walk-in pantry. They thought he was acting like that because of the alcohol, what they didn’t know was he was possessed. The ghost of a former employee of the hotel lets Jack out of the walk-in after he makes Jack promise to kill Wendy and bring Danny to him. Jack find Wendy and starts chasing her with a mallet. She escapes and locks herself in the bathroom of a sweet. Jack tries to break down the door. Wendy slashes his hand with a razor trying to stop him, although it didn’t stop him, it did slow him down. While at a job in Florida the chief of the hotel gets a distress call from Danny and rushes back to the hotel. Only to be attacked by animals that spirits have possessed and to be attacked by Jack. As
Jack continues chasing Danny, he gets a hold of himself for just a minute.
Just long enough to tell Danny he loves him and to run. This makes the spirits mad and they take back control of Jack. The hotel causes Jack to beat himself with the mallet, only to make himself unrecognizable to Danny. Danny tells jack that a boiler in the basement is about to explode. While jack runs down their to relieve the pressure he is to late and the broiler explodes and destroys the hotel. Danny, Wendy, and the Chief escape and the chief leads Danny and Wendy to
safety.
