I do not only want to learn the fundamentals and vital aspects of Health Information Technology. I want to apply my knowledge to understand and solve real world problems. Having worked as a Medical Technologist in the highly technologically advanced Clinical Chemistry/Toxicology department at Detroit Medical Center, I have realized that Information Technology is where I want to focus my career. My experience in the laboratory will enable me to excel in the MS in Health Information Technology program at University of Michigan
