The most important part of Health Informatics, of course, is implementing information technology to improve the quality and safety of care. Embarking on a career in health informatics can provide me with knowing that I can make a difference. The healthcare has improved truly by making patient care number one, making safe advantages to protecting patient information and the advantages that are taking into place. I’m the one who believes essential part of that care is education, because it drives a person to believe that they can make a change in life. In school, more education translates into better opportunities in life and more knowledge leads to greater control over one's circumstances. In healthcare, meaningful patient education can do the same. Since the technology in this century is improving daily, it’s having the patients feel more involved and empowered to play an active role in their health. The healthcare has brought in new ideas that would make a big impact on the patients. Patients can monitor their medication status and engage with their doctors for help through the portal app. Some hospital may not provide this type of services to their patients, but instead patients can use the healthcare portal app to track their own health information, medication, doc appointments and etc. Knowledge is power and there is nothing more powerful than having good health in this world. …show more content…
