In class we read the essay by Helen Keller about what she would do if she could see for three days. She also said she wished that everyone could be blind for three days in their adult life.
On my first day I would wake up and eat breakfast with anyone who would want to. After I get done, I would go out to lunch with my family. I would then spend a few hours with Dylan Armistead and we would go race go carts after that I would drop him off at his house and thank him for going with me. I would then pick up Hunter Molohon and Bradlee Marburger and we would go out to my land and shoot guns. When the sun starts to go down I would drive up to the house and start a fire outside in the pit. We would stay up
until 2 in the morning playing basketball, backyard football, and even fish. We would close our night by riverside and sleep in tents. On my second day I would wake up, shower, brush my teeth, and then go out to eat at Country Kitchen with Bradlee. We would then go whale fishing on the Pacific Ocean. When we get done with that we would fly to North Korea to what’s happening over there. When we realize that we don’t belong there we would go to Japan. I would try several different foods that they have their culture. When we land back in America we would find a drag strip and race any car we want because the owner feels about that we aren’t going to be able to see in one day. We would then go eat at Bill’s Toasty for supper. We would then do the same thing we did the night before.
On my last day with vision when I wake up I would do the morning routine. I would throw a party to celebrate how great being able to see has been. I would look over pictures of my journeys with friends and family. We would eat pizza and drink soda. This day would hopefully be a Sunday so I could watch the Green Bay Packers for the last time. I would ask everyone to leave so I could spend my last hours of seeing with my family. I would then go to sleep and never see again.
