Over vacation we spoke about writing letters (I hear it’s just like texting but even more efficient) and I realized that I should probably put into practice what I was preachin’. I was so impressed with the picture of you two that I had no choice but to share it, and what better way that via the mail! That night we went out to eat was such a blessing (minus your sushi dinner… maybe we can shoot for BBQ next time) and the Marsh Walk was absolutely beautiful. I was also lucky enough to enjoy the night with Ryan and the two people that raised him to be a man that I can say I trust whole-heartedly. It was the first time I really got to appreciate his parents and that was something I will be forever grateful for. There is…

I decided I would follow them as Atticus wasn't with them and I knew something was unusual. I'm super glad that I followed them because next thing I knew Bob tried stabbing them with a knife. I grabbed the knife and he didn't expect it. Next thing I knew I stabbed him and saved the two terrified kids. It was really dark out and it all happened so fast.…

Happy 13th birthday, my dear son! Congratulations on becoming a teenager. Both your mother and I cannot believe how fast you have grown. I have chosen this book, The Odyssey, to guide you as you grow into a man. My English teacher, Mrs Jones, FORCED us to read it when I was your age ( and although it was VERY boring at first (especially the complicated timeline), we were soon engrossed in Odysseus’s swashbuckling adventures…

It is July 23rd, the day of my birthday and one I will never forget! As I walked down the stairs to eat breakfast I spotted a brand new Phillies jersey hanging up on the kitchen chair. There is also a happy birthday card taped to it and so I knew it was for me. I walked up to the chair so I could try on the Jersey and then as I opened the card, two Phillies tickets fell out! I was so excited I could barely contain myself because the seats were amazing, they were right behind the Phillies dugout!…
