As we can tell from this citation Will Kane didn't stay so he could be the star of the show, he stayed because he knew he was doing to right thing by protecting and standing by his town that he built up. He knew that there was a great chance of him possibly being killed but he didn't let that thought get in the way of his decision to support his town. On the other hand The Most Dangerous Game conveys a different major message of theme. "At daybreak Rainsford, lying near the swamp, was awakened by a sound that made him know that he had new things to learn about fear (Connell)." Although High Noons theme was responsibility to the town verse self interest, The Most Dangerous Game theme went towards a different direction that fear really can change a man. Both of the main characters have many similarities as well as the setting, while the theme has many differences. Even though we never found out the physical appearance traits of both main characters, In the end, both protagonist from both novels High Noon and The Most Dangers Game conveyed strong, brave, tough, courageous personality traits that allowed them to revive the best outcome for the both of them in the conclusion which they were exceedingly critical in the final result. Although both High Noon and The Most Dangerous Game shares many similarities throughout the difference in theme was significant to the plot and conclusion. Wrapping up everything, the desolated, remote, isolated qualities both the setting of the Western town of High Noon portrayed and the jungle of The Most Dangerous game portrayed were extremely compatible with the antagonist of both novels in the beginning because the lawless effect of both the town and the jungle made it possible for them
