The hippies were protesting against political problems and the war. To show people,mainly the government, how ridiculous these laws were the hippies would peaceful protest, sometimes with sines but manly with their clothing. One of these laws hippies did not agree with was the voting laws. For men the voting age was twenty one years old but men were constantly being drafted to vietnam at the age of eighteen. Hippies thought this was completely unfair that the government thinks you're too young to vote for who is going to be representing your country but not too young to be shipped of to vietnam to risk your life. We have also talked about what hippies wore, hippies wore whatever they felt was fring to them. Lastly we talked about some famous hippies and what they have done with there lives and with that question we discovered that hippies were never lead by anyone because the whole point was to be free and not be told who to be or what to do with there lives.In conclusion the hippie movement was not a rebellion ,it was not an act of hatred towards anyone who doesn't understand, it is simply an act or a movement to show people that you can be free and don’t need to constantly be told what to do or who to be in
