Hirsi Rhetorical Analysis
When Hirsi told Neelie she was running for a position in Holland’s Parliament, she was met with discourse and discouragement. Neelie described her dreams as a “sinkhole,” leading to no actual progression in Muslim society. Despite the low hopes her friend had for her, Hirsi had a mission to speed the process of emancipation for Muslim women. The goals were laid out as such: for Holland to bear witness to the oppression of Muslim women and to punish those who oppress them, for Muslim women to realize how much they are oppressed and how unacceptable the position they are in, and to spark a discussion of the Muslim culture and religion so the members can question their own beliefs rather than blindly follow.
Hirsi’s election in the Liberal party in parliament got the ball rolling, and with such, she started quickly on her first goal: Holland realizing the oppression of Muslim women. She began by speaking with other members of the party about her want to give independent resident papers to women who came to Holland to marry

She was aware that freeing Muslim women from their “mental cage” would take time, due to their inherent response to do nothing but submit to the Islamic tradition. Most messages she received, however were from Muslims who would call her a traitor to her people.
Hirsi’s last goal came at her stronger than she could have imagined, she wanted Muslims to be presented with questions into their beliefs for them to form their own opinions. The opinions that seemed to surface first were extreme signs of hate towards her for being a blasphemer to her own religion. It all started with a Moroccan man being arrested for posting Hirsi’s location on the internet accompanied by two photos: one of Theo and one of her, along with the message that both of them must die, and that Allah would

Chapter 4, we learned the various aspects of an audience, when preparing a written or electrical document. How did I consider my audience needs and interests as I developed the presentation about Great Calls marketing strategy? I put myself in their shoes and considered the expectations that a manager of a large cellular company would expect. I recognized their time is valuable and I would need to be quick and direct. I also thought that I would have to put together a presentation that was professional and eye catching and brought valuable information to helping them direct the company to a new solution to increase customer attention. Who was my audience? The people I am presenting to are five managers of Genuine Cellular, who I assume are…

The experiences they share are nonetheless very similar.…

Rhetorical analysis closely examines the text, author, audience and context one is interested in knowing more about. Their usually is a conflict in the information that one is trying to learn more about in order to make a decision or simply better understand the subject. A good faith attempt at a clean slated mind that suspends judgment of your own opinions, morale’s, and values is a requirement to gain a good analysis. You also, obviously, need a text with an author with the ability to determine what the context is about and who the audience is supposed to be. It is worthwhile to engage in this manner in order to gain properly from it. If you don’t, you’re not doing a rhetorical analysis and you won’t gain much in the way of better understanding. I consider the terms, processes, and information in this reading to be the framework that is necessary in order to be successful at a rhetorical analysis. Therefore not only being aware of these aspects but understanding them is seriously beneficial.…

Romeo is an essential character worth analyzing in William Shakespeare's famous play, Romeo and Juliet. One way to describe Romeo is determined. Throughout Act 1 in the play at and after the party, he is determined to get Juliet. “What lady’s that, which doth enrich the hand of yonder knight?” (I.ib.46-47) In this line, Romeo is a the party and it is “love at first sight.” Romeo is very in love with Juliet. When Romeo first sees her at the Capulet ball, he completely forgets about Rosaline and falls in love with Juliet at first sight. When he meets her, Romeo quotes, “My lips, two blushing pilgrims, ready stand to smooth that rough touch with a tender kiss” (I.iv.97-98). By this line, Romeo is discussing how each of his lips is ready to kiss Juliet. Romeo is so much in love with Juliet that he becomes very romantic forgetting all about Rosaline. Do traffic signals make a difference when drivers are conducting their vehicles? In U.K. the roads have less signs and are smaller roads than in the United States. The United States has great amounts of traffic signals and symbols all over the road to make the driver more aware. In the U.K. accidents do occur but not that often has in the United States. In the Unites States every second there is huge amounts of accidents going on over the nation. John Staddon in his magazine article “Distracting Miss Daisy” tries to persuade that traffic control is making traffic more dangerous because we do not pay attention to the road, but to the signals.…

It is vital that there is regular dialogue between the class teacher and the teaching assistant before the lesson to prepare and after the lesson to share assessments and feedback. The teaching assistant who is briefed as to what their role is in a lesson is far more likely to make a positive impact upon teaching and learning. It is important that teaching assistants give feedback to the teacher regarding progress made or difficulties encountered by children during the lesson so that planning for the next day can be modified.…

By advancing her studies, she became part of the Liberal Party, this allowed her to speak for the rights of Islamic women. In a press conference she said she was “secularized”, and she keeps talking about how “Islam was backward”. After this public discussion people started warning her about how she was putting herself in danger. After she won the representative elections for the Liberal Party she was constantly under threats. I would have been more keen on to catch wind of the Koran teachings that, "men and ladies are equivalent, that people ought not be judged by, excellence, riches or benefit." If so then shouldn't all Muslims be wearing precisely the same, rich or poor, male or female to conceal their "magnificence or absence of it" to see each for their actual…

5.3 The Woman from the Perspective of Conservative Salafism: An All-Encompassing Rejection of “Westernization” The Conservative Salafist perspective on women and women’s issues is grounded in quite solid foundations. Sheikh al-Albani established the parameters of this particular issue by first setting a solid base that, primarily, excluded the woman from the public realm. He specifically defined her place and her work as being confined to the framework of managing her household and to child rearing, within the context of the strategy of “purification and education”. And, although he affirmed that men and women were equal in creation, he determined that, “The righteous place for the women is to be confined to her house, based on God’s words:…
