History Of Innocent Bostonians

On March 5, many innocent Bostonians were killed by British soldiers. It was an unprovoked murder where the soldiers fired and killed five colonists! The citizens were just attending to their daily duties on the streets when a soldier started a fight with them. The struggle soon turned into a full fledged confrontation. When other redcoats attempted to calm the group with threats of firing on them, Bostonians were rightfully outraged and began to fight back a little. Some citizens even picked up pebbles and twigs and threw them at the soldiers in defense.
After one angry man dared the soldiers to fire on them and one stick hit a soldier, an officer gave the order and the soldiers fired at random into the crowd, killing a total of FIVE people and barely missing others. The first person they shot was Crispus Attucks, a dockworker who was part African and part Native American. He will be missed, along with the other four people that the redcoats killed.
We will not have you here. We’ll get rid of you, we’ll drive you away!” The bloodthirsty soldiers came to America to control us and we will do whatever is needed to get them to leave. Britain has overtaxed us, threatened us, and now they have killed us, and not only that, they have killed innocent, orderly, citizens who had done nothing to deserve being murdered. Another Bostonian said after the tragic murder, “Are the inhabitants to be knocked down in the streets? Are they to be murdered…?”
Leaders such as Samuel Adams and Paul Revere are spreading the word of this horrible encounter, known as the Boston Massacre, throughout the colonies, calling for more resistance against the redcoats. We must fight these tyrants! We cannot let them take control of us and so we must do whatever we can to stop
