Hitler before the war
On the evening of April 20th, 1889 a little after six, a child was born in the small town called Braunau Am Inn just across the border from German Bavaria. Born to a man and woman named Alois Schicklgruber and Klara Pölzl. Due to being an illegitimate child Alois Schicklgruber, in order to help the advance of his career choose to change his name from Schicklgruber to Hiedler, however it was recorded as Hitler in the record books. So in 1876, at the age of 39, Alois Schicklgruber became Alois Hitler and passed on this name to his son Adolf Hitler. His mother Klara after losing 3 children previously to death feared that she would lose Adolf at young age, proceeded to lavished love and attention towards him. His father constantly busy with work and his hobby of bee keeping ignored Adolf as a child only giving him attention when it was time to punish him. Adolf being close to the age of 5 gained two siblings, his younger brother Edmund, followed by his sister Paula 3 year later.
With the birth of his two younger siblings and with his two older step siblings moving in, the Hitler family now lived on a crowded little farm. Hitler’s father had now retired and was now spending more time at home. With the noise all the little children made and without his work to escape to, Alois’s anger grew harsher toward the children. Adolf older brother Alois Jr. found himself bearing the brunt of the father’s anger and choose to run away from the farm at the age of 14 never to return. With Alois Jr. gone Adolf now found himself as the target of his father’s anger, along with losing his mother’s attention with her now focusing on his young siblings.
The family eventually moved off the farm to the town of Lambach, Austria. This was the first of several moves the family would make due to the restless retirement of Hitler's father. With this move Adolf found himself with more free time due to the end of farm chores and choose to spend this time exploring. A place he enjoy spending
