At the end of World War I, there were numerous fearful and terrible damages that happened in the world. The Allies shifted responsibilities to the Central Powers, especially to Germany. As a result, countries, such as the Ottoman Empire and the Austrian-Hungarian Empire were divided into a couple of small countries. Meanwhile, Germany needed a leader who would tide them over the crisis; and there was a leader, whose name was Hitler. As a military man, Adolf Hitler was fatigued by the debt that had to be paid for all the compensation from World War I. One of the reasons why Hitler planned to start another war was that he could not pay all of the debt back and make proper compensation for World War I. However, Europeans and Americans ignored the threats of Germany as none of their business, and then World War II became the world’s business. There was a plethora of “war guilt” during World War II, for example, persecution of the Jews caused the war to be more painful. World War II is the most important event in history because it brought many results into the world; for example, World War II proved to be the most costly war in history, the number of deaths and amount of money lost during the war transformed the political, social, and economic situations in Europe, the world divided into two “super powers”, and one of the visible results of World War II was the creation of the United Nations.…
Concurrently, in the period following World War I, tensions were yet again rising in Europe. Global economies were beginning to destabilize as dictatorial regimes rose to power in Europe and Asia, setting the stage for World War II. Specifically, the rise of Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party in Germany was a topic of concern to the Allies (Ellis, 12). Capitalizing on economic instability, social unrest, and national humiliation resulting from the Treaty of Versailles, Hitler and the Nazi Party exploited widespread discontent to gain popular support. Through propaganda, political maneuvering, and intimidation, Hitler was appointed Chancellor of Germany in 1933.…
Adolf Hitler, Nazi leader of the Third Reich had a profound effect on international relations from the very moment he became chancellor in 1933 to even after his death and the legacy he had left behind. It can be said that in the span of 20 years between 1933 and 1953 Hitler had huge short term significance on international relations, ranging from his views on the treaty of Versailles, war in Europe all the way through to the eventual split of Germany post 1945 following his death. By 1953 Hitler had a catastrophic effect on international relations, he had left Europe in ruins and effectively sowed the seeds for the cold war between The United States of America and the Soviet Union in the years to come.…
Looking back at the events that occurred during our history, particularly during World War II, many of the people often reflect back and ask the question, ‘Who let a man like Hitler come into power or what made the German people decide to follow him? The seeds of Hitler's rise to power were planted following the outcome of the First World War. Hitler’s rise to power was not inevitable. It depended heavily on a range of factors, events and circumstances.…
One side was The Axis powers which included Germany, Italy and Japan. The other group was the allied powers and that included Great Britain, the United States and the Soviet Union. Allied powers were led by Great Britain, the U.S and the Soviet Union. The allied powers had an interest in territorial expansion and the…
The first source is criticizing the concept of war, and the implications that come with it. Wilson states that war has no winners, only temporary conquerors, “Upon which terms of peace would rest, not permanently, but only as upon quicksand.” Proven to be true by the Treaty of Versailles, which was created under the false pretences of peace, and used to punish Germany, who was used as a scapegoat by the political leaders at the time. The Big Four created a temporary fix by signing the treaty, making Germany pay reparations and putting a limit on their military abilities, creating a sense of bitterness in Germany, which allowed them to rise as a nation and descend into World War II. They were driven more by their own national interests, making…
It is evident that throughout history many wars have occurred. One of the major ones would be the First and Second World Wars because it was damaging to all countries in the world. The Second World War in particular was caused by ultra-nationalistic views, where one believes that their country is superior to all other countries. Adolf Hitler a German leader was able to become the head of a political party where he renamed it to “Nazional Sozialismus Deutsche Arbeiters Partei” which is also known as the Nazi Party. With this party he was able to stir up many people into following him and following his ideals. Adolf Hitler was also able to convince the English and the French into giving him back Austria and Czechoslovakia which are two countries that they have lost because of the First World War. With these two countries Hitler began to believe that he was superior because he was able to gain these two countries easily. This led him into the invasion of Poland which triggered the beginning of the Second World War. Due to Adolf Hitler’s…
In “See Aggression...Do Aggression” Bandura’s theoretical proposition was that he believed that children can learn to be aggressive. Bandura decided to conduct an experiment to see if he was right. He believed that if you expose a child to either a aggressive model or a nonaggressive model that the children would imitate the actions of the model. His test would show to just what extent the children mimic the behaviors displayed.…

As time passed, Hitler continued to strengthen his army and gain more support from the people of Germany, which led to his increasing confidence in his desired expansion of the empire. The Axis powers consisted of three main nations, Germany, Italy, and Japan, each working alongside the other to complete their own agendas. The largest and most formidable of these powers was Germany, led by the infamous Adolf Hitler, whose personal, anti-Semitic feelings appeared to be the fuel for his fire. Italy, a much smaller nation compared to Germany,…
My initial execution of the incomplete measure was poor. I fixed the incomplete measure by giving a clearer and more appropriate prep. I do not think the loop I conducted in the prep was effective though. I should have used the simple patter for beat 3 and 4 for the incomplete measure. My release fermati went smoothly and they were clear enough for the ensemble to follow. My first release fermata was much clearer than the second. I the first fermata, I showed a motion and direction in the fermata giving life to the sound. In the second fermata, I gave very little motion causing my cutoff to look frantic and uncharacteristic. My release of phrases and the transition between them is good with the exception of one phrase. I wanted to give and three beats of press and then a conducted beat 4 in a measure, however I did not do a good job of implying time in my press causing it to look like a bad fluctuation in time.…
In 1933, Hitler and his National Socialist (Nazi) party were elected into power in Germany. Hitler was chosen by his party to become the new chancellor of Germany. The National Socialist (Nazis) won 34.1% of the overall vote. The German people were looking for a new voice for their suffering; they wanted a new leader to help get them out of their downfall during World War I, the Great Depression of 1929, and the Treaty of Versailles.…
Hitler’s ability to rise up as a dictator and take control of Germany can be linked back to long term causes. These long term causes allowed Hitler certain advantages which he would then go on to exploit and manipulate such as The Treaty of Versailles. The Treaty of Versailles would contribute to Hitler’s plan to rule. The Treaty had left Germany as an economy and country as a whole undoubtedly weak and vulnerable. Not only had it affected the economy and country, it had also affected the people of Germany. The Germans were furious with the terms and conditions of the Treaty, they particularly resented the guilt clause that they were made to sign which stated that the war was Germanys fault. The Germans felt defeated and without hope. Hitler preyed on the opinions of hatred for the Treaty of Versailles and manipulated this to his advantage. He was able to increase German support for the Nazi party, by including in his foreign policy the proposal to get rid of the Treaty of Versailles. This meant Hitler was able to succeed in turning the Germans bitterness for the Treaty into more votes for the Nazi party, propelling Hitler’s popularity. After the Treaty of Versailles more people were open to the idea of having a stronger government. Many were more compelled to look to parties with more radical views, such as Hitler and the Nazi party in order to get rid of the Treaty of Versailles, which so many had loathed.…
