The strong point of the film is really the screenplay which is in time and has an impact. The acting was established well since the actors suit to each of the character they portrayed. Also, it has a good cinematography. The shots and angles are just good enough to be able to leave a good impression to the audience. Seeing the film, every element is very good which leaves its audience a very positive reaction.

The movie was great because how they acted their roles were exceptional. Honestly, the roles given to them are really hard because they will handle all the emotional and physical challenges of their roles. You really need a good actors to be able to act it out, and so they did. It was so moving, since you are able to see hopeless people who as much as possible keep their selves positive and enthusiastic in life. It is directed by Penny Marshall, the film was produced by…

Regardless of what the plot was intended to be, it is difficult to not be distracted from the message in the film by the poor acting. The lines are not particularly good that the actors are given for their characters, but they are spoken in such a way that the viewer is not as aware of what they are saying, but in the strange manner they are…

The movie is about the first couple years of AIDS, mostly in the United States. It tells the political as well as the scientific struggle that occurred with the discovery of AIDS. The main character Dr. Don Francis heads the research of AIDS with little money and little help. This was because AIDS was considered the “gay man’s disease” and there was more emphasis on who discovered the disease than actually helping those who had it. Basically, the movie was about the government and many other individuals being ignorant and looking the other way because homosexual males were seen as a lesser priority and group.…

I enjoyed this film very much. The story line was very interesting and kept me at the edge of my seat the whole time. At no point did I lose interest or dozed off when watching this film. I liked how well Meryl Streep played the role of Sister Aloysius. The whole time I only saw her as Sister Aloysius and no other character from different films Meryl has done. I absolutely loved how the movie was produced. The setting fit in so well with the story and the plot was very stable and consistent. I never felt like the story drifted into unnecessary parts or unneeded points.…

Research paper Every day of our lives we have our minds filled by the media, but is it always truth that we are being filled with? We have diseases (HIV/AIDS), our planets fossil fuel consumption issue , and especially drugs, in this case we have marijuana and how it causes behind the wheel, work related deaths and mostly you hear about how it negatively affects your lungs. But have you ever disregarded the media and done some research of your own? Turns out this so called drug marijuana might not actually be as negative as people think but could very well have the potential to pull this country out of its recession. I was digging into a little research and discovered some statements/facts that just might make you think twice about not utilizing this plants potential. Example, this plant can be used for medicinal purposes. When this plant is smoked it affects your body in a way called “ the munchies,” were it enables the patient to eat larger amounts of food helping the patient gain weight which they were losing due to the diseases (HIV/AIDS) the patient might be fighting. Now most hospitals will not tell you this unless you are in one of those few states that actually wised up and legalized it. Another interesting fact is that when smoked provides same affects as certain prescription drugs but less possible harm to your body. Now this is when it really gets interesting. Did you know before hemp was made illegal, it had a vast array of benefits to those million dollar commercial industries. All school books were made from hemp or flax paper until 1880's( Hemp paper reconsidered , Jack Fraiser, 1974). It was legal to pay taxes with hemp in America from 1631 until early 1800's (LA times, Aug 12 1981). Refusing to grow hemp in America during the 17th & 18th century was against the law. You could be jailed! ( Hemp in Colonial Virginia , G. M. Herdon). 80% of all textiles, fabrics, cloths, linen, drapes, bed sheets, etc.....were made from hemp until 1820's…
