Holocaust Should Never Happen Again Essay
I am grateful every day to have my freedom. To be able to do mostly what I want, when I want to do it and not get judged for it. I don't get judged or treated differently because what I wear or what religion I practice. After WWII and the Holocaust many things have changed..
In Mr. Arbeiters words he says that the memory of the Holocaust must become a part of the human conscience for all time. He means that the holocaust should never be forgotten. He hopes that after this event the world will be a better place and that nothing like this will ever happen again. When he says that he prays for a new love of humanity to be born out of the horrors of the Holocaust he wants people to not hate our own kind and just to not treat people poorly. He

We need to talk about the actions of the past and improve on them. We can use our knowledge about what happened and make sure that something like it never happens again. There could be laws and rules to have consequences for actions like that. I don't think anything as bad as the Holocaust will ever happen again but there has been other events like this recently. In places like Cambodia and Darfur there couldn't really be anything done to stop this. There have been people/groups and laws put in place to prevent this. Even though it may not seem like it, we have done a lot to make our world better. But we are still working towards this goal. We really have brought together a better and safer world after the Holocaust.
I will remember the Holocaust in many different ways. I will understand it to the best of my ability and use what I've learned and pass it on to the future generations to come. I will remember all the people who lost their lives and all the people who fought to save them. Lots of people died during the Holocaust and none of them should ever be forgotten. I won't take my freedom or anything for granted. The people who died didn't have that, they had nothing.. They were locked up and many were killed. I will never forget the Holocaust and make sure others don't

¨How does one mourn for six million people who died? How many candles does one light? How many prayers does one recite? Do we know how to remember the victims, their solitude, their helplessness? In the early 1940s, The Holocaust was a dangerous time period to live through. It was a disaster where people in germany that Hitler did not like, such as the Jews, would be killed by the Nazi. Not only jews, but all races, all ages, and all religion were eliminated without any justice. The concentration camps in Germany were for jews and others to be tortured, but mainly to be killed “without legal proceedings.”(Engel). Hitler put those people through the camps who had different beliefs than he had. The Holocaust is a time period that all people should have a moment of silence for those who lost their lives because they were different.…
