There is no place like my home. My home is a welcoming and secure environment that is perfect for both entertaining guests and just a quiet night of pure relaxation. My home is a place where I find myself feeling safe and loved. The interior and exterior of my house is very unique, because my dad designed it, and I am very grateful to live where I do. As I cruise down Riverton Drive I pass by my old high school, James River. Before turning onto my street, just ahead is the entrance to Robious Landing Park where I spent a lot of my childhood memories. Winding down my peaceful street I reach my residence. As I pull into the beautiful cobblestone drive-way, I always admire the unique formation of my home. The exterior of my house is all brick and the yard is landscaped with beautiful trees and shrubs. As I get out of my car, I routinely make my way to the back door, walking under the tangle vine arbor onto the stone patio. The patio is made for outdoor gatherings and has comfortable furniture to lounge on. It also has a large stone fireplace and a grill for barbeques. My favorite part about my backyard is our garden, where we grow fresh fruit and vegetables to eat. Entering through the back door is the living room. The sudden aroma of my house smells of cinnamon and is always comforting. My living room consists of my dad’s favorite leather chair, a substantial love seat, a delightful cream colored couch, and a 64 inch flat screen TV. This is where my family and I like to take a load off after a long day. If I had to describe my houses theme it would be fall mainly because of its tasteful decorations and calming color scheme. All of the creams, browns, and reds make it that way. On the wall in my living room hang October, November, and January paintings. These months stand for me, my dad, and my older sister’s birthdays. A large arch way opens up to the wine colored kitchen area, which is my favorite place in my house. The grayish granite marble
