Homelessness Reflection

During this course, I have learned some valuable principles of academic writing and made an attempt to use the gained knowledge to write a final essay. One of the problems that I faced while preparing the essay was connected with the choice of the topic. It was necessary to find a really relevant issue that would provide an opportunity to conduct a well-developed research. While walking through the streets, I can often see one or several homeless people who have no place to live. Since this problem appeared to me important, I decided to write my essay on the topic of homelessness, researching the causes and effects of the issue as well as offering some opportunities to solve the problem.
As far as the problem can be faced by everyone, I tried to make my essay understandable. I used some statistics to show the scope of the issue and to make my essay more convincing. Referring to the convincing of the audience, I also used relevant articles from the journals
To a large extent, I tried to make the work sound academic. Respectively, I was seeking to use some specific words and terms. However, I also had to make the writing understandable so that I tried to use clear structures and well-developed sentences to deliver my idea. In addition, I tried to make the structure of the essay understandable and clear. Starting with the introduction of the problem, I then provided the statistics to show the importance of the problem. Then I decided to research the reasons and results of homelessness to understand the essence of the issue. Finally, I sought for some opportunities to solve the issue based on the materials that were found earlier. Thus, the organization of an essay provides a reflection regarding the process of working on the essay and is logical.
