Honey Regulations Case Study

Honey Regulations according to Canada Agricultural Products Act, these regulation apply to all honey extracted from the comb. In general, according to Section 4.1, no person shall market honey in import, export or interprovincial trade as food unless the honey is not contaminated, is edible, is prepared in a sanitary manner and has meets all other requirements of the Food and Drugs Act and the Food and Drug Regulations. Next, the contaminated honey may be marketed in export or interprovincial trade as food if the honey is prepared in a manner before being marketed, so that it still meets the requirements. It is also stated that it is prohibited for anyone to mix honey with other honey so that it meets the requirements. Thus, prepared
