Hopes and Dreams

My highest career aspiration is to ring the opening bell at the NASDAQ as my company celebrates the successful completion of its initial public opening. My study in businesses has influenced heavily in what I dream to do, it has prepared me for the necessary obstacles that I will have to overcome to reach my end goal. My dream is to own a Advertising agency that works with top corporations all over the world, to become a master in consumer perception and marketing manipulation.

The first step to initialize my goal is to achieve a stable small business to adequately achieve capital in order to pay for my educational and independent residence in a country that I will be most comfortable living in. My early ventures have prepared me to build such small company fit for exponential growth and stable managerial virtues to allow me to overseer my company via telecommuting. My experiences have also exposed me to the intangible qualities of successful entrepreneurs that have taught me a basic understanding of the knowledgeable business owner I want to be. In order to carry out my first step I will need to invest time into doing clients work myself, and the ability to gain clients without a substantial portfolio.

Once I’ve achieved graduation of high school my next step will be to receive acceptance by one of the top accredited business schools. Once this step has been taken most likely my current business should generate me a stable income in order to pay for my full time schooling & residence in a foreign country. This will allow a minimal stress environment allowing my mind to loosely be educated & still have the time & the energy to manage my business overseas. While in Business school I’ll utilize my schooling to better guide my business into a forward direction.

My last goal to achieve my dream is to gain a better understanding of sociology & psychology. I will use these teachings to learn a persons perspective and shift

Leesburg is a charming town in Northern Virginia, its motto “the hometown of the 21st century” seems to rein true as it is often characterized as the perfect place to raise kids; primarily due to the excellent school system and the low unemployment and crime rate. In 2011 CNN Money ranked Leesburg fourth on the “Best 100 Places to Live” list in the nation. Moreover, Leesburg is a historically rich town; it was home to one of the founding fathers, James Monroe. Monroe resided in Leesburg for many years and it was also where he gave life to the Monroe Doctrine. Leesburg is the governmental center of the Loudoun County, otherwise known as the county seat. Leesburg is located within the eastern region of Loudoun which is the more development filled side of the county. Furthermore, the public school system and department of social services, among other public entities, are run by the county instead of the town itself. The population of Leesburg, according to the 2010 census, is 42,616. On the other hand, the population of Loudoun County is 312,311 as of 2010. Leesburg along with the rest of eastern Loudoun has gone through an explosion of growth within the past years. Loudoun’s close vicinity to the nation’s capital makes it a very attractive place for young professionals and families to live in. Suburbanization in Loudoun is explosive; the evidence speaks for itself as Loudoun is Virginia’s fastest growing county with 84.15% population grown since 2000. The median family income in the county is also the highest in the state at about $130,493 a year. As of 2010 the population of races is moderately diverse as Loudoun is made up of 67% White, 7% Black, 12% Hispanic, and 14% of Asian individuals. However, there is a side of Loudoun County that most people do not know about: it is that Loudoun has an estimated 3.4% poverty rate, although low in comparison to the…

Lorraine Hansberry, the author of A Raisin in the Sun, supports the theme of her play from a montage of, A Dream Deferred, by Langston Hughes. Hughes asks, "What happens to a dream deferred?" He suggests many alternatives to answering the question. That it might "dry up like a raisin in the sun," or "fester like a sore." Yet the play maybe more closely related to Hughes final question of the poem, "Or does it explode?" The play is full of bombs that are explosions of emotion set off by the frustration of the Younger family, who are unable to grasp the possible reality of their dreams. The family shares the dream of having a better life but compete against each other for the insurance money given to Mama after her husband's death. The son of Mama, Walter, dreams of being a rich black man by investing the money in a liquor store. His sister, Beneatha, wants to use the money to finish school, so she can pursue her life as a doctor. Mama would rather use the money to buy a home and leave their run down house in the ghetto. Their frustration is obtained from their dreams being deferred and the emotions burst like an exploding time bomb.…

Lots of people find it hard to answer the question what do you want to do for a living. In addition, many dream that one day their hobby would constitute a big part of their occupation. I have always been good at languages and for me it is a pleasure to study one, not an obligation. But I believe that languages need to be practiced otherwise one will forget them. That is why I would like to work in a company where I need to speak many languages or at least one foreign. Also, I like different cultures and I think that working in a multinational company that has branches all over the world would be the most suitable place for me. Also, I consider myself a creative person, who likes dynamic and fast paced environment. That is the reason why being in the field of Marketing has always been my dream. Working in such field seems very easy, but in fact Marketing and PR, not to mention planning, are activities that are very demanding – working on a tight deadline, being prepared for the unexpected things, being extremely concentrated, paying attention to every single detail and working fast, are just some of the things that a marketing person should be able to do.…
