Welcome to the horse show! In this portfolio you will find all kinds of showing events, from trail to western pleasure, there is something inside for everyone. Similar to the different show events, because of the specific requirements for each essay, there are several differences within the writings. Also, each focuses a little differently on a specific aspect of writing abilities. Closely related to a horse show, this portfolio can make you stop and appreciate every aspect of putting a piece of writing together; just like a horse show can make you appreciate every aspect of a horse. Trail riding is something I love to do; it’s relaxing to me, and makes me feel like I have found peace within myself. When walking through the woods, you are capable of finding yourself. Also, in the autobiographical essay, “The Real Tasmanian Devil”, focuses on my passion. My passion in this paper is based on my horses, which includes trail riding. It focuses in on the specific details of its contents. Also, in showmanship you get to show off your horse more than any other class. During this writing, I was told to focus in on the specific details of one place; I choose my old house because of all the emotions I feel when I think of it.This essay holds this aspect as well, with all the bells and whistles of the descriptive, creative word choice; the paper is very concise and a quick read because of how detailed and descriptive it
