I want to be able to bring all the international students together, encourage them and mentor them on how to cope with moving to England from another country. I understand this because I joined …..in September 2012 and I had never studied abroad before this so I know what it feels like having to adjust to a different environment with no friends or family members around. Joining ......really pushed me out of my comfort zone, and has made me develop a high level of confidence and self esteem. I went to Nigeria for the Christmas Holiday and a lot of people stated that the 3 months I had spent at …….really made a difference/impact as I was now friendlier and more open probably due to the fact that I had interacted with such a wide variety of cultures in the valley. Visiting a variety of countries with my family has enabled me develop excellent cross cultural and interpersonal skills which would be of great assistance to my role as an international ribbon.I can identify myself with people of different nationalities and I love that each culture is so interesting, exciting and unique. I’ll be delighted to work close with staff and assist them in running the school and to help international students settle down well into life in the valley. I believe that I have the attributes a ribbon should possess as I have a friendly attitude and can easily adapt to new environments and people. I would not
