How can alternative sources of energy be harness effectively
Draft 2.

Humans since the start of the civilization they always used energy in order to cover

their needs and in order to develop their selves, in the past people made fire by cracking two

pieces of flint causing sparks against dry tinder or fleece. But now there are many alternative

sources of energy for people to use. And fossils fuels helped them a lot. People have used

more than 90% of fuels, such as oil, coal and natural gas to produce electricity. These things

are non-renewable. The more we use these fuels it will decrease every day. Today fossils

fuels are a risk for our planet and people should search alternative way of energy, which is a

new way to produce electricity and also reducing global warming. So this essay will focus on

what alternative sources of energy is, types of alternative energy, the importance of

alternative energy, pros and cons of alternative sources of energy and the last special one is

how to harnessed it effectively.

Before finding the way to harness alternative energy we must know what is

alternative energy first. So the alternative energy is any kind of energy that does not come

from fossil fuels or nuclear energy. Alternative energy is needed for the future because the

energy that we use today from fossil fuels is very polluting and dangerous for the

environment and for our live and if we don't use other type of energy there is the serious risk

to our life and our environment. Alternative energy is environment friendly. And they cause

little or almost no pollution. Here are types of alternative energies: Solar Energy, Wind

Energy, Geothermal Energy, Hydroelectric Energy, Biomass Energy, Ocean Energy and

Hydrogen Energy.

This part will mention to types of alternative energy, pros and cons and the

importance of alternative energy. There are many types of alternative energy but I will only

There are many alternative energy sources that we can see and put our hands on but they all have pros and cons. Some are either too expensive or not viable as a long term source of energy in comparison to oil. Our infrastructure is built around coal and oil dating back to the industrial revolution. From our cars to the power that runs the microwave in the kitchen fossil fuels are a part of our lives but they are running out, killing…

As human beings, we need energy for just about all functions associated with the luxuries of our daily lives. We need energy to heat our homes, to fuel our cars, to watch television in addition to industrial and agricultural purposes. How often do we stop and think about where all this energy is coming from? Energy is formed and disbursed through an industrial process that is performed using a number of different sources. Although there are a number of different sources, there are only two types of energy, renewable and nonrenewable. Renewable energy sources are naturally replaced in time. Because of this factor, there is little concern with running out of these energy resources. On the other hand nonrenewable energy resources are quite the opposite. These resources have the potential to run out because they are not replaced naturally in short periods of time.…

Another form of alternative energy is wind energy. An advantage to using alternative energy sources is that they are renewable. A disadvantage of alternative energy sources is that they can be inconsistent, as is the case especially with wind energy. Energy is an important part of our everyday lives. Energy can come in many different types, and forms it can be used for many different purposes. Energy has many different usages and can be converted from one form of usage to another form of usage depending on what the need is. One form of energy conversion is the use of food to supply people's bodies with energy. Another form of energy is how coal is converted into electricity. Fuel is another form of energy that can be used for many different usages as well. Fuel is used for much different reason such as allowing our cars to function and our lawnmowers to cut grass. There are many different reasons why people use energy in the many different ways that we use it. Even though people rely on energy usage, some of the forms of energy we use are very harmful to the environment and even dangerous to ourselves. The harmful and dangerous fuels that we use can be changed to alternative methods of energy usage. There are two different types of alternative energy, which is known as renewable energy. Renewable energy is very resourceful and is able to be used because it is all around us there will not be a shortage of material and it is safer on every living thing and being. Energy and fuel usage just like everything else in the world has its advantages and disadvantages about using it. We must collectivity figure out which source of energy is right for everyone but for now we will find out which is best to use in your…

Alternative energy sources are those that are different from the typical sources we use today such as fossil fuels, nuclear and falling water; Alternatives can be solar, geothermal, hydrogen, gas, fusion, or any other energy source that a new technology could utilize (Tillery, Enger, & Ross, 2009, p. 69). Active Solar application is an alternative energy source. Fossil fuels do provide an inexpensive form of energy, but in contrast, they also pollute the atmosphere with greenhouse gases, thus contributing to climate change. Global warming is primarily due to increased concentrations of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, and the single most important source of this carbon dioxide is the combustion of fossil fuels” (Bostrom, Read, & Morgan, 2010). Oil is the energy source of our time. We refine the crude, extracted oil into different products like gasoline, jet-fuel, diesel and even plastics. Fossil fuels have promoted global commerce and are behind many of the greatest technological and social innovations of our day.…

Energy comes from the earth. In order to make the necessary forms of energy for use, we must use the earth’s resources. Unfortunately, the earth’s resources that are being used to make energy cannot be replaced forcing us to conserve energy. Conserving energy can be achieved through energy efficiency. First we must define to conserve and energy efficiency. To conserve energy means to save as much as possible. Energy efficiency means to use our resources wisely and productively. So to save energy we must use the earth’s resources wisely and productively. Moreover there are several reasons why conserving energy is important. For instance, conserving energy leads to taking responsibility for the current and future state of the ecosystem, and humankind. If no responsibility is taken and energy is not used efficiently the ecosystem would be destroyed, food and energy supplies would run low, along with capital goods. Eventually this could lead to competition for resources, which would then lead to war among nations. Conserving energy is important for a healthier environment, economy and energy protection.…
