Lincoln is known as one of our country’s best presidents, saving the union from one of the worst crisis in American history, the Civil War. He tried his best every day to prevent the war, and then to end the war with a full nation pieced together. Due to his hard working efforts, the nation was able to heal and reconstruct after the war was over. If Abraham Lincoln did not become president, today we might have two separate countries instead of the world power, United States.
