“We need a leader , not a creeper tweeter!” This was one of the many chants that roared through the streets of Washington , just one day after Donald Trump’s inauguration. I can still remember the hazy morning and the fog covering the top of the Washington Monument. As I looked around I could see all the proud men and women chanting and marching as they throw their fists and signs in the air. The day after the inauguration thousands were in dismay that Donald Trump was actually the president. The person who would be controlling the country for four years or more. People wanted to voice their opinions but they didn’t know how to. So they decided a march would be the perfect way to show how they felt. Teresa Shook made a Facebook Event Page calling for a march in Washington, the next day she had over 100,000 responses. However, the Women’s Rights March wasn’t only in Washington. It was also in all 50 states of the US, in 32 different countries. In total there were 673 marches around the world. The marchers were everything but a waste of time. This march had a huge impact because it made people open their eyes and realize who our president actually is and how he treats and disrespect women. For example, in an interview Trump stated, “You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait.
