The Scientific Method “is a body of techniques for investigating Phenomena, acquiring new knowledge or correcting and intergrading previous knowledge.” It is one of the most beneficial concept that is still being used today. There are six steps to the scientific Method (School of Dragons):

As a child and young man, he was educated in mathematics, music, geometry, and astronomy(Crowley). Because of illness R. Francis became a friar. While he was a friar he was able to conduct many experiments and study more science. Additionally, Roger Bacon was one of the first men to describe in detail how gunpowder worked and was made(Crowley). One of the thing he is most know for is the “emphasis on the study of nature through empiricism” (Wikipedia), but the one thing that he is commonly now for is the is the promotion of reasoning for the Scientific Method. Even though R. Bacon did not validate the Scientific Method he did give reasoning for and he also influenced Francis Bacon (many be very distantly related) who did validate the Scientific
