Benito Mussolini, also known as Il Duce (“The Leader) was a man born July 29, 1883-April 28, 1945. His political ability originated from his father, he was later was kicked out of the party because he wasn’t against the same things like World War 1. Benito Mussolini was the creator of the Fascist party, and because of this it opened doors for him to be prime minister which gave him all authority over Italy. His power was not accepted by all people, and because of this he was later murdered by his own people at the time of World War 2 in Mezzegra, Italy. II. BODY

midst of trouble. They were so infuriated by his actions that they took it into their own hands by executing both him and his mistress. They hung their bodies high above the Milan Plaza, and his people took joy in it with no regrets for the decision they made. What pushed his people over the edge was that he was overrun by his desire for power rather than the promises he made to his people about peace and prosperity.
C. EARLY LIFE
Benito Mussolini was born in Dovia di Predappio, Forlì, Italy in the year of 1883 and died in Mezzegra, Italy 1945. His parents didn’t have the perfect marriage because Mussolini’s father had a mistress who he spent the majority of his time and money on. His mother was the one who held the family together by creating dome kind of stability and income, but even though she did this he took on his father’s traits in his early life.
D, SOCIALIST PARTY
As a young child Benito had much potential to live a good life, but his father taught him to be obsessive about politics and to disobey his authority. This situation is partly what caused him to be the way he was in the future. The year 1902 he promoted socialism in Switzerland, and because of his fiery personality the people quickly were intrigued by his ways. He later was kicked out of the party when he was caught doing political demonstrations by the Swiss authorities. When he went back to Italy he continued his point in the influence of socialism, and was shortly imprisoned because of it. When he was let out he became the owner of a newspaper company because it gave him an open door to put his word out there about socialism. When World War 2 began he was against the entry of Italy into the war, but as it progressed he saw it as a chance to make Italy great again. Because of his acceptance toward it he was kicked out of the socialist party, and he later joined the front line of the Italian army. He was a success in the army and became a corporal, but when he got injured in the war they discharged him out of the war.
E. FASCIST PARTY:
In 1919 Mussolini found what he is so known for, the Fascist Party.
The purpose of this group was to condemn the social class for condemning and being discrimative. He hoped to make Italy as powerful as it was back to the Roman era. Mussolini didn’t agree with the Treaty of Versailles, and created an organization called the “black Shirts.” This group would attack political opponents and this increased the Fascist influence. Italy was in a time of chaos and disrupt, and apparently only Mussolini could restore it back to its original glory. They were in such despair that they gave him the position as prime minister, while having this position he made the democratic institutions seem like nothing. He used his power to become a dictator and a leader over all of Italy. He might’ve caused a lot of problems in Italy but e did decrease their unemployment and for this the people accepted him. Trying to prove his power he invaded Ethiopia who was not ready for the strong Italians, and the point of this was to add Ethiopia to its all-powerful empire. The German dictator Adolf Hitler was impressed with Benito Mussolini’s ways that he desired to gain a friendship and alliance with him. Benito was the one who initiated the discrimination policies against the Jews. Hitler and Mussolini soon made an alliance and caused havoc to the Jewish people and their own
people.
III. CONCLUSION:
Benito Mussolini was a horrible man, but was only accepted because of the promises he made to the people that he didn't even invest in. His rise to power cause him to fall harder because of the power he had in his hands. He is an example to what we shouldn't repeat in history
