How Did Benjamin Franklin Change America
Have you ever wanted to know more about Benjamin Franklin? I mean we learn about him in our history books, for the kite experiment, and help develop the Declaration of Independence, but there is so much more. Like his early childhood, what he did when he was a child, some of his favorite hobbies. Or have you ever wondered what else he did, because he has invented to so many machines, and helped change America. Even though Franklin is gone, there are still some people who share some traits with him, who knows, maybe their influence was from Ben Franklin.

Let us begin at his childhood. Benjamin Franklin Was born in the city of Boston in the month of January 17, 1706. Unlike traditional families in the present day, who usually only have around

Running away from home at this time was illegal. The reason for this is because everyone had a place to stay in this society, but runaways didn’t. Ben did not care what happened to him, as long as he could run away from his awful brother. Ben took a boat to New York and tried finding work there, but he couldn’t. Then he walked over to New Jersey, couldn’t find work there, and finally ended up at Philadelphia. After this he spent the last of his money on bread, this is around the time when Ben started to say “a penny saved, is a penny earned (Franklin,1733) he said this because he had no more money and was messy from the journey. Once again Ben found work as an apprentice printer. He did so well that the governor of Pennsylvania promised him that he would help him up in business for himself. All Franklin had to do was go to London and get his own supplies, but the governor reneged on his promise, this led to Franklin being stuck in London forced to find work for several months. When Ben returned to Philadelphia, he tried his hand at helping run a shop. Ben was a better printer that his employer, so he got some money, and set up his own printing business. Ben worked all the time, people began to notice this, and it was at this time, when Ben was getting the contract to do government jobs, and also at this time business was great at his printing
