An investment in knowledge pays the best interest. This quote shows Franklin’s value in knowledge. He is an imbues a wanting in me, because similar to him humanity sees knowledge as an investment and most of us want to learn to grasp the full quantity and use it to promote others.
Benjamin Franklin knew the power of union. He believed that a country broken is resembling a chair with no legs, useless. Franklin was a great inventor.
Ben invented many groups to help humanity akin to, The Hospital, or Fire Fighters, evolved the printing press and made the bifocals which made books cheaper and reading easier. Ben was a problem solver also. He proved that lightning And electricity were the same thing. I also strive to make an easier more sufficient life style. One where the world is a better place, more peace than war.
Benjamin Franklin was a man who strived to go farther than he was. He taught himself French, Latin, Italian, and Spanish. When he was twenty-one he established the colonies first libraries, and in 1761 invented one of the first American instruments called the glass harmonica. Since he created so many inventions and taught himself different languages, it gives me an awe inspired feeling because he accomplished all of this without external
help.
Even though Benjamin Franklin disbanded school at the tender age of ten; he invented the pro & con list that is still used today, and not to speak that he invented his own alphabet taking out letters he felt were redundant. Ben even suggested the concept of learning a second language that way civilians can pursue their jobs easier and more sufficient. Franklin helped found the University of Pennsylvania. This shows that Benjamin Franklin refused limitations to get in his way of success. He strived hard and long before he got to where he was residing, and concluded to add to the education he never received. This is, and should be, an inspiration to a lot of people around the world, including me. It strikes me with new found confidence when biographies emphasize that even though he had no education he contributed to what even I use today. If his philosophy still stands today of some things that must mean he created a big impact.
In Conclusion, Benjamin Franklin was an inspiration for me, because he strived to learn even when he never had a formal education. He contributed to education so the future generations could learn more, not to mention he created many inventions to help life become less challenging for everyone. He is and will continue to be an inspiration to many people.
