Who Really Discovered The Americas?
Columbus the first person to discover the Americas? We have been taught from elementary school that Christopher Columbus had discovered America, but is there scientific discoveries to teach us that he didn’t? Many people will always give him the credit, but here is information on why I believe he did not discover the Americas. In the sixth century St. Brendan embarked on a legendary voyage to North America. As his craft beat against the waves he encountered crystal pillars on the ocean. He landed at what the Irishmen thought was paradise. Vegetation, fragrant with flowers and fruit and colorful stones was what they seen.
