How Did Crockett Pay Jim Bowie
David Crockett was chosen by Jim Bowie as the contractor, to build Bowie’s house for $ 166,000. Between Crockett and Bowie there was a promise to build Bowie’s house. Crockett was required by contractual duty to finish Bowie’s house for the given amount of $ 166,000. Whether or not Crockett needed more money to finish Bowie’s house he was still obligated to continue the original agreed bid Crockett had with Bowie. Bowie did raise a fuss to Crockett regarding the extra $ 15,000 he had to pay in order for Crockett to finish building his house.
