Population wise, people from the countryside were able to work for wages in the new cities, and this eventually increased the demand for products such as the cotton textile production. There were several of financial innovation as well such as the central banks, stock markets and joint stock companies which encouraged people to take risks with their investments, trade and new technologies.
Many scholars and craftspeople that were influenced by the enlightenment and the scientific revolution were encouraged to apply new scientific thinking to mechanical and technological challenges.
