How Did Florence Nightingale Influence The Development Of Nursing
Nursing is such a respected profession and taken seriously in society today.
Before Nightingale, nursing was unimportant and low-status, nurses didn't take their jobs seriously.
Hospitals today are clean, sanitary, and safe, which all started in 1854 with Florence Nightingale
Florence Nightingale was the founder of modern nursing, it started during the Crimean War. She had a team of nurses improve the unhealthy conditions at a british hospital, which also reduced death by two thirds.
In 1860 she established St.Thomas’ Hospital and the Nightingale Training School for nurses, which helped the nursing field grow and develop from then.
