One of the important aspects of life in Medieval times is related to the fact that guilds provided people a higher social status.That was the main reason why a lot people became members of the guild whether throughout merchant or craft guilds. Nobles obtained guild memberships and gained the honor in the abbeys. Another important aspect to mention Is that The process of guilds leaded to feudalism.
