But the young Michelangelo did not stop pursuing his ambition and became a sculptor, which made his father much more unhappy because a sculptor has more physical activities involved in his work rather than a painter.
Thirty-five years has passed since the blocks were left behind and the cathedral authorities are now concerned that the blocks will be put to waste.
