Robert G. (Gilmour) LeTourneau, a mechanic through faith and a divine partnership, moved mountains thus changing the industrialized world, as we know it today. LeTourneau, at an early age had the stature of a grown man, and an iron will to match never backing down to a physical challenge. Regarded as Stubborn, he had something to prove to his father, himself and the industry; however, he was not so stubborn that he did not realize the need for a partner- God. Mr. Letourneau’s partnership with God lead to his influence on people, innovative ideas and his destiny.

Duvol said to him “God needs businessmen too.” The words he took to heart and guided him to the person he became. He kept 10% of what was earned and 90% went to the Lord and He blessed Robert and Evelyn’s dedication and work; a foundation was created to manage the donations.
LeTourneau was awarded with an Appreciation of Service Achievement award for the equipment used during the “Boulder Dam” project as well as 30 other awards related to engineering, manufacturing and the development of heavy equipment throughout his career. Conclusion
Mr. Robert G. (Gilmour) LeTourneau- Former stubborn, uneducated, mechanic- God’s partner heard his calling and followed the sound; which lead him to follow his dreams, pave to way for every aspect of the mechanical industry and reach many souls for the Lord. It took him so time, but according to him, he knew and changed. Matthew 6:33: "but seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you. That I had not been doing. I had been seeking first my own way of life and I firmly believe God has to send those difficulties into our lives to get us to look up into His face and call upon Him for His help and guidance."(Mover of men and mountains pg. 85).
