How Did Roman Empire Fall
How did Roman empire fall? Roman empire; the most powerful, strong and invincible in Middle age. It covers around Mediterranean sea, Africa and Asia. Roman empire establish in 27 B.C. with Augustus Caesar as the emperor. And Roman empire still have power for a long time after that. But we have never know how does it ends. In the age that Roman empire is the most powerful empire. When it covers the area around Mediterranean sea. It looks good, but it makes Roman empire too big to rule, too big to control. Force the emperor to cut the empire into two parts, the east and the west. To be more easy with two emperor. In 330 A.D. Constantine the Great sets the new capital of the east at Byzantium instead of Rome with the new name, Nova Roma or New Rome. But people usually call it, the city of Constantine or Constantinople. At that time, there’s always the war with other tribe. The war with Germanic tribe in the middle of Europe make Romans tired. …show more content…

Germanic tribe people come and ask to stay in Constantinople and they will fight in the battle for Romans in return. In 378 A.D. at the war in Adrianople, Visigoth tribe win over Romans and get Dacia state as their headquarter. In 391 A.D. Theodosius the emperor sets the law to make Christianity as the only one religion in Roman empire. The belief according to the religion, it heals all the thirst of war of the Romans. It makes the Romans have to hire Germanic tribe to fight for them in the battle with Germanic tribe. This also makes Romans

    From C.A. 300 CE to 476 CE Rome began a steady decline to its collapse. Some historians disagree with this and have other theories. One of the other theories is that the Roman Empire did not collapse as the Eastern Empire did not collapse until “Fall of Rome at Constantinople in 1453.” The base of this theory is that the Eastern Empire became the Byzantium Empire, however it was no longer the Roman Empire as there were no longer any Roman Emperors.
