December 1 1995 after a long day of work at a Montgomery department store where she
had worked at as a seamstress Rosa Parks board the Cleveland Avenue bus for home
She took a seat in the first several rows that were only for “colored passengers”.While
Riding that bus all black and white people were supposed to be seperated at all times
while riding on the Cleveland Avenue Bus.As the bus started to fill up with white people

Arrested Rosa Parks at the scene and charged her with the violation of Chapter 6 ,
Section 11, of the Montgomery City Code she was taken to the police headquarters ,
where later that night she was released on bail.Rosa Parks went to court for the incident
