The great detective, Sherlock Holmes, needs people that can help him catch the criminals. Sherlock Holmes can find all the evidence possible, but to convict the criminals, he needs the help of lawyers and without them, the criminals wouldn’t be proven guilty of a crime. In The Red Headed League, even though one of John Clay’s accomplices ran away from Sherlock, he was caught because there were three men waiting to arrest him at the door.
