The T-34, its Creation and its Impact During the Second World War

Abstract
After the Winter War, there was an apparent need for new tanks to replace their old counterparts. The Soviets, under engineer Mikhail Koshkin, developed the T-34, which was used during World War two and the Cold War. It was so successful that it was used as model for future tanks. As technological might proved a determining factor during wars, the arts and literature also had a key to it. Adolf Hitler’s speeches uses a variety of literary devices to communicate his message. These speeches have changed history by influencing the technological and military advancements.

The superior T-34 shocked the Nazis because it seemed invincible to the German tanks; this soon caused the Germans to develop the Panzer V. From there, it was a cat and mouse game, both sides improved and created new tanks to counter the other. Moreover, T-34 was used to obstruct and eventually decimate the German Advance. The T-34 held off the Nazis in nearly every battle for the first few years of the war.
The Battle of Stalingrad, two million dead; were the Soviets to lose, they would be denied access to the oil rich Caucasus- effectively killing any chance of advancement made by the Army.
Astoundingly, the Battle of Moscow, 1.7 million dead; the loss of the Soviet capital would mean failure to stop the Nazis from winning against the final stand of the USSR and ultimately- the war.
Conversely, The Battle of Kursk, the largest tank battle in history- came at a cost of 300,000 lives and began the end of the Nazis.
The T-84 help fought and won in all of the battles and more, leading the fatal Soviet advance to Berlin, winning the western front. It was crucial that these tanks were there, moving every step of the way, for they were essential to the collapse of the …show more content…
One of the main tools is repetition. He uses it extensively such as when he states that through “National reason, national energy, of national brutality and resolution.” Besides repetition ,he also uses powerful language in itself to inspire emotion such as despicable, befooled, collapse. Word choices are not the only thing that increases the power of the speech, its extensive use of exclamation marks( capitalized letters for this specific copy of speech) for a bold demeanor.
The words, style and punctuation isn’t the only thing that made the speech. It was the way Hitler Presented it. If one could look at say, one of Hitler’s speeches in live action ,they would see that he does it in an incredibly dramatic way. The fuhrer has used fast hand signals and confident body language to communicate his position. He pauses himself for the audience’s reaction regularly; along with that, he usually attempts to make the people anxious, impatient- increasing the psychological impact of the speech. Adolf has screamed his speeches to get his point across, which is an effective tactic for getting people to listen to
