How Did The United Nations Better Than The League Of Nations

The United Nations was an organization created after World War II. There United Nations plan was to have intergovernmental organization. They wanted this because they wanted all the nations to cooperate with everyone and all the other Nations so that there will be no problems. Now there are problems even though they came up with this idea not everyone was up for it. like some Nations were totally for it and were ready as well. Then there was others that were not so much as into it but they thought that it wasn't the best idea. They thought that some nations would have more power over the others and if that was the way is was going to be then they wanted to have that power. Then all the nations were starting to argue on who would be in control.
Now even though the United Nations is better than the League of Nations there still is many flaws. The fact that the United Nations did not keep the promise with some of the bigger countries like the U.S and Russia they decided to take their own way. So without the two strong powers they United Nations were not as strong as they could have been. Since the U.N didn't keep their promise their relationship with the U.S and Russia became smaller. Now the U.S does give money to the U.N due to trade and other things but now that the relationship was somewhat broken between them it was lowered to a smaller deal. Now that it became smaller the U.N would not have so much money as they did when the U.S was paying them. Though they do lose a larger power they did gain some back. The Asian countries and the African countries had gained their independence so they joined the U.N. Now that they have joined they now have a part of the U.N power to make the decisions to see what they gain and lose. Another thing though that is a downfall, is that the U.N has gained a lot of debt. Since the U.s does not pay them all the money now they still need to buy what they need but don't have the money to do
