How Did World War 1 Start
World War 1
World War 1 started because the Germans were pushing the Austrians to go to war. World War 1 also happened because little countries wanted their independence and countries were competing to have a stronger army and it was known as the Great War because it was one of the largest wars that had happened it started on July 28 of 1914 and the war ended in November 11 of 1918 the war lasted 4 years and many Americans and Europeans were mobilized.
The United States stayed out of the war for a while because America didn’t want to take sides in the war and the United States also had the chance to sell military supplies. America didn’t join the war from 1914 and 1917 they just watched. America also didn’t get involved until they heard the Germans had taken down a British boat and 128 Americans had died on

Another reason why we went to war was because the U.S. got a telegraph note the germen sent to Mexico to attack the U.S. so Wilson had declared war against Germany. World war one ended by the two sides talking on how to end the war because Germany knew they weren’t going to win and it ended on the eleventh month of the eleventh hour in 1918. When the war had ended Europe had lost their powers and the United States had gained more power during those four years. The generals met in a private railroad car in France to discuss on how they were going to end the war.
President Woodrow wanted Germany to sign a treaty that agrees to have Germany pay for all damages that happened during the war and Germany said they would never go to war again because of how much they had to pay for all the damages because it ruined Germany and it destroyed all of their military and the Germanys economy and all the Americans were supporting Woodrow and his peace treaty to punish
