World War 1
World War 1 started because the Germans were pushing the Austrians to go to war. World War 1 also happened because little countries wanted their independence and countries were competing to have a stronger army and it was known as the Great War because it was one of the largest wars that had happened it started on July 28 of 1914 and the war ended in November 11 of 1918 the war lasted 4 years and many Americans and Europeans were mobilized.
The United States stayed out of the war for a while because America didn’t want to take sides in the war and the United States also had the chance to sell military supplies.
