Political parties damage the US political system because a lot of voters will vote for the party not the candidate. I think if we are going to have political parties and the candidates share the same belief, we should not elect candidates but elect the party. Interest groups aid the US political party system because it brings light to certain issues. Interest groups are bais but they encourage voters to research issues and learn more about them. The media damages the US political system because candidates don't focus on their beliefs or qualities. They focus on there appoints mistakes mainly. I think that candidates should not be allowed to talk negatively about the other candidate in commercials. Most democracies have a different political
