In this scenario, Manning does not violate all four of the ethical standards, but she does violate three out of the four. The three standards are competence, integrity, and credibility. In my point of view, Manning breaks that standards because she withholds information that could help her company’s future and think about more of what is going to happen to the employees that will get laid off because of Manning’s discovering. She is blocking a successful rise in LeMar Packaging, Inc., everything that I explained above that someone could do to violate this standard is everything that she has done. The second ethical standard, integrity is violated as well due to the fact that Manning is holding out on the company by not doing the work she is supposed to do, correctly. By doing that Cassidy Manning could discredit the company if anyone finds out. This happening affects not only the integrity of her but also the company she is working for because they hired Manning. Finally, the last standard breaks is the credibility standard. To not overstep and violate this standard one must give out details unbiased to what they think should happen, reveal information that could impact one’s knowledge in the company decisions and that could violate any laws or polices.
