Mayan creators made more than onc race because they wanted to be invoked, worshipped, and remembered, but the animals were unable to talk. The gods failed with their first effort. They first created a body with earth and mud but it failed because the body would literally dissolve and disintegrate. Their second attempt started with wood and it succeeded and the first man was created. The creators were not happy about it because they wanted to be worshipped and this race did not knew how to worship so they destroyed this race with a great flood. Mayan creators fourth effort got even more interesting they mixed corn with water due to which they create the human flesh.
