How Does Mathilde's Character Change

In “The Necklace,” is a story in which Mathilde is the main character. She is a character with a difficult personality because of her necessity to please others, the way she cares about what the others say, the way she is selfish, and only thinks and cares about herself, and her being in padron. In the story her personality, and attitudes did not changed very much, it was only strengthened.
