It makes people feel superior and cause them to disregard others’ brilliant ideas. Power can also help in schemes to manipulate others into believing what is being told to them. In Animal Farm, Napoleon became the leader once he chased Snowball out of the farm. He made rules to be followed by other animals but slowly he started thinking he is better than others. Napoleon saw Snowball’s popularity and chased him away, and he manipulated when he changed original rules to make his life more comfortable. In the Twelve Foot Ceiling, the leaders should not try to manipulate and stop excellence because some people may not understand that.
