Sir Toby is worried about her therefor driving the plot of a sad niece and a worried uncle. Shakespeare shows that Sir Toby is worried when he says “What’s wrong with my niece? Why is she reacting so strangely to her brother’s death? Grief is bad for people’s health.” This can show he is concerned for her health. Sir Toby Belch also drives the plot by making Sir Andrew seem like a smart guy. He and Sir Andrew are very good friends and even danced together. This brings out Sir Toby’s emotions and his actions driving the plot along. Finally Shakespeare makes Sir Toby Belch and unforgettable character. This is by making him and unpredictable character. He introduces Sir Toby Belch as rude, careless drinker with worries about his niece, but as the story goes on we see Sir Toby Belch as a jokester and a partier.
