Squealer loves to take advantage of the other animals. Squealer uses his wonderful speaking skills in order to confuse and manipulate the other animals. Squealer is able to do this by changing the amendments. Squealer changes a total of four of the amendments, including, the rule about animals sleeping in beds, walking upon two legs, drinking alcohol, and finally the prevention of one animal killing his fellow “comrade.” By doing this, Squealer uses the animal’s stupidity to his advantage, allowing the tyrants to sleep in beds, drink alcohol, kill animals that oppose them, and contradict …show more content…
Squealer's convincing voice makes it easy for him to lie and convince the other animals that what he is saying is true. For example, he declared to and convinced the other animals that Snowball, a dedicated Animalist, was actually a spy for Jones. He even mentioned that Snowball was bleeding because Napoleon, who was not even present during the revolution, bit him and scared him off after attacking Jones. Another example would include him saying, "Four legs good, and two legs even bad." He later contradicted himself by walking on two legs himself, wearing clothes, and even going to the far-fetched extreme, saying, "Walking upon four legs is good, but walking upon two legs, is even better."
